Our Private Out-of-Hours service is an alternative to your local Out-of-Hours arrangements. We do not make you wait on a phonecall, triage your case for suitability – you choose your condition, confirm your appointment and attend at the agreed time for your face-to-face assessment.

Please do not use the Out-of-Hours service for issues that are inappropriate or bookable elsewhere. The Out-of-Hours clinician will not advise on chronic health conditions or undertake investigations or referrals. You will be asked to book with one of our GPs at additional cost.

The clinician has referred me to A+E – will I get seen sooner?

If our clinician has deemed that your clinical presentation requires an A+E attendance they will provide you with a letter of referral. You will be triaged in A+E as any NHS patient and prioritised in terms of clinical need and necessity. If you are referred to A+E you have been provided with medical assessment and advice on your condition by our clinician. This is why their is a charge associated with your appointment. Referral to A+E does not entitle the patient to a refund as this was the most appropriate management for your condition and presentation.
