Pregnancy Ultrasound Scans

The primary purpose of all our packages and our Fetal Health Scan, is the well-being of mum and baby.

Your sonographer will conduct the appropriate health checks and you will receive a report to take home if required. 

We recommend that you present your results to your healthcare professional whose contact details we take at the time of booking when you attend for your appointment.
All scans are performed by a qualified Sonographer with diagnostic obstetric scanning experience.

Early Scan 6-12 Weeks

This is 15 minute scan to determine viability of your pregnancy. Your sonographer will also check the general health of your womb and ovaries.

A scan in early pregnancy can be performed in the first trimester between 6 –12 weeks gestation.

Reasons for having scan:

  • to confirm your pregnancy
  • to confirm your EDD (estimated date of delivery)
  • to identify multiple pregnancies
  • for peace of mind

Dating Scan

This is a 15-minute scan to determine viability of your pregnancy. Your sonographer will also check the general health of your womb and ovaries.

A dating scan can be done at any stage of pregnancy.

Reasons for having scan:

  • to confirm your pregnancy
  • to ‘date’ your pregnancy – to confirm your EDD (estimated date of delivery)
